Solution Consultant - Business Intelligence & Presales Engineering

You will play a crucial role as a Solutions Consultant at Axion Ray, where you will be at the core of product, data, and go-to-market strategy. Your main responsibilities will include: - Proactive Delivery Management: Taking charge of the timeline for all client-facing assets such as dashboards, models, decks, and knowledge bases. You will need to anticipate potential obstacles, align different teams, and keep leadership informed of the progress, risks, and next steps. - Requirements & Insight Capture: Converting customer discovery notes, call transcripts, and CRM updates into clear business and technical specifications for the Product, Data-Ops, and Engineering teams. - Solution Design & Analytics: Building models, creating interactive dashboards, and transforming raw data into actionable insights spreadsheets. - Demo & Collateral Creation: Developing tailored demos, prototypes, and pitch decks that highlight how Axion Ray addresses real-world quality and reliability challenges. - Competitive & Market Intelligence: Monitoring industry trends, benchmarking competitors, and providing concise internal briefings to guide positioning and sales strategy. - Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintaining updated glossaries, playbooks, and knowledge repositories to enable stakeholders to access methodology, assumptions, and templates. - Continuous Improvement: Collecting feedback post-delivery, measuring impact, and integrating insights back into product backlogs and process playbooks. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 1-3 years of experience in solutions consulting, business intelligence, pre-sales engineering, or similar analytical positions. - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related field. - Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet skills, SQL, BI visualization tools, and the ability to work with lookup arrays and dynamic modeling. - Strong storytelling abilities to create clear narratives in PowerPoint/Google Slides that resonate with technical and executive audiences. - Familiarity with CRM workflows, preferably Salesforce, and knowledge of documentation best practices. - Bonus points for exposure to manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or quality-management domains, or hands-on experience with modern data stacks like Python, dbt, and PostHog. You will operate in a hybrid work model, spending three days a week at the Bengaluru hub for collaboration and the remaining days working remotely.
