Solution Architect - Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager of Solution Architecture at our company, you will have the opportunity to shape smart, scalable tech solutions that drive real business impact. Your role will involve leading a team of Solution Architects across key commercial domains and driving the design of robust, business-aligned solutions. By collaborating closely with product teams and enterprise architecture, you will ensure long-term system operability and architectural consistency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee other Solution Architects to define comprehensive and robust technology solutions for multiple medium- and high-complexity teams fulfilling business needs - Ensure technology solutions align with Enterprise Architecture principles and the wider architectural runway - Collaborate with other Solution Architects, Platform Architects, and Enterprise Architects to design large, integrated solutions - Provide high-level technical assurance for delivered technology solutions, ensuring compliance with agreed technical guardrails and standards - Support the Enterprise Architecture function in defining guardrails, standards, and solution patterns - Review and advise on complex and/or high-risk solutions with the Enterprise Architecture Change Board - Support the evaluation and selection of software components to meet architectural design needs - Troubleshoot complex technical issues by collaborating with Functional Consultants and Developers - Build and maintain a repository of all solution architecture artifacts and reusable components - Act as a subject matter expert in solution design and a technical expert within the relevant functional/technology domain - Advocate for solution/component reusability to expedite delivery progress - Document and model existing solutions/systems architecture, identifying areas of technical debt for resolution by Product teams or the Enterprise Architecture function - Provide coaching to new or junior Solution Architects **Qualifications Required:** - Over 8 years of experience in designing comprehensive and robust technology solutions - Deep understanding of the technology landscape for relevant Product Stream (e.g., SAP Hybris, HubSpot, SAP SD, .net applications, SAP MM, SAP FICO, CAD/CAM) - Demonstrable experience in providing technical assurance for delivered solutions, ensuring compliance with common security and architectural guidelines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for translating complex requirements into clear architectural blueprints and troubleshooting technical issues - Forward-thinking with an ability to anticipate medium and long-term implications of architectural decisions - Able to operate with high autonomy, with line management responsibilities for other Solution Architects in the Product/Platform team - Ability to translate complex technology ideas to non-conversant Business stakeholders - Highly knowledgeable of the latest technology trends and technology vendor landscape - Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies - Experience in establishing architectural guardrails and standards preferred - Hands-on coding skills in relevant programming languages preferred (e.g., Java) - Ability to effectively mentor and grow future Solution Architect talent - Certified in TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent certifications preferred Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow where diverse perspectives are valued, innovative ideas are encouraged, and a deep sense of purpose and belonging is shared.,
