Summary

As Solution Architect, you will lead all the architectural activities part of the digital solutions development lifecycle. Need to be able to translate complex business requirements into a robust and integrated technology solution. You will be working in a fast-paced environment solving unique and challenging software problems and developing innovative solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand varied business problems and implement solutions that are secure, scalable, robust, and easily maintainable
• Collaborate with wider architecture teams across locations
• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates with wider architecture teams across locations to formalise and adopt appropriate standards and procedures
• Deliver sustainable solution/technical architecture to solve business problems in line with organisational vision and product & technology roadmap
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including roadmaps and project portfolios for systems architecture
• Follow architectural standards & conventions and gain approval for the deliverables as required by compliance & governance processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage small delivery teams to derive value outcomes
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
• Support product owner / project manager in evaluating viability of product concepts from technology / delivery / cost perspective
• Openly communicate with all the stakeholders. Timely communication on status & issues

Skills and Technical Competencies

Advanced to Proficient levels mandatory skills and competencies:

• Person with Degree level education in Mathematics, Science, Computing or Engineering discipline
• 12 + years in a software delivery function of which 5+ years architecture experience building end-to-end solution architecture for at least 2 large scale / 1+ year duration engagements in regulated industry
• Delivered multiple high quality end to end solution designs, from concept to deployment, for green field and brown field solutions in data intensive, operational and visualization solution landscape

Hands-on experience with

a. Cloud: Microsoft Azure PaaS, IaaS

b. Languages/frameworks: C# ,Java Script, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, WebApi, Node, React/Angular, Python

c. Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB

Experienced in

a. Standard architecture frameworks and practices such as TOGAF

b. Architecture: .NET Architecture, Application & Cloud Design Patterns, Micro-services, Micro-frontend

c. Performance: Address performance bottleneck for Application, Database & Infrastructure

d. Identity & Access management, security: AD, Azure Entra and application functionality such as SSO, RBAC, encryption

Good understanding of

a. Understand business requirement and convert them in technical solution design using UML and BPMN

b. DevOps methodology and implementation in Microsoft Azure / DevOps

c. Knowledge of Agile practices & processes

d. Knowledge of support models and their implementation

e. Best practices, design/coding standards to improve the quality of the deliverables and ensure the compliance with defined reference architecture and engineering prescriptions

f. Project management frameworks such as Prince2 / PMP with skills in Effort Estimation, planning and risk management
