Solution Architect Lead

Role & responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end software architectures for enterprise applications, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Define solution blueprints, technical specifications, and integration strategies.
• Ensure architectural alignment with business goals, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Cloud Solutions

• Architect and deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement serverless architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.

AI/ML Integration

• Collaborate with data science teams to embed machine learning models into business applications.
• Design data pipelines for training and inference using tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, or SageMaker.
• Identify opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making.

Technology Strategy & Innovation

• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies such as blockchain, edge computing, AR/VR, and quantum computing.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and technical feasibility studies.
• Stay current with industry trends and translate them into actionable strategies.

Security & Compliance

• Design solutions with security-first principles including IAM, encryption, and zero trust architecture.
• Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, DPDP Act , and other relevant regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Present architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture review boards.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture decisions, system designs, and technical standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years in architectural roles.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, system integration, and security protocols.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
