Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing software solutions that meet business requirements and align with the companys technical vision. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:

• Design end-to-end software solutions that meet business objectives, including high-level and detailed architecture design.
• Ensure architecture solutions are aligned with the companys overall technology strategy and leverage modern frameworks, tools, and technologies.

2. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, helping to ensure that software is built according to architectural standards.
• Lead the selection and integration of technology stacks, tools, and frameworks.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions, roadmaps, and technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Solution Development:

• Oversee the development process to ensure the solution is built to specifications and adheres to best practices.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and contribute to the development of proof of concepts (POCs) as necessary.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Establish coding standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and design sessions to ensure software quality and compliance with architecture.

6. Scalability and Performance:

• Design solutions that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable, and that meet the anticipated performance requirements.
• Implement monitoring and logging strategies to ensure system health and performance over time.

7. Security and Compliance:

• Integrate security and data protection strategies into the architecture, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensure that solutions are secure by design and adhere to best practices in cybersecurity.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software architecture.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in architecture practices, tools, and methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a solution architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in various programming languages (e.g. .NET) and familiarity with front-end, back-end, and full-stack development.
• Experience with Azure Integration and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and integration technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certification in cloud architecture or related technologies.
• Experience in enterprise-level software architecture and design patterns.
