Solution Architect - IBM Z ISV Ecosystem

We are seeking an IBM Z Ecosystem Enablement Specialist to drive the growth and success of the IBM Z ISV partner ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will recruit and nurture strategic partnerships, align partner goals with IBM Z objectives and develop impactful go-to-market strategies. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise 8-10 years of prior experience in Software Development /Engineering process with thorough understanding of the life cycle 3+ years of industry experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect Demonstrated ability in solving complex business problems using technology Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders at various organizational levels Demonstrated behaviors of self-motivation, invention, agility, creativity, and the ability to make things happen in a rapid development environment Experience working with z/OS (JCL, REXX, SMP/E, JES2/3, TSO, ISPF) and virtualization (i.e. z/VM, PR/SM) Prior work with modernizing z/OS applications for Hybrid Cloud (RESTful APIs, Kafka, MQ, SQL) Broad knowledge of container technologies and containers on z/OS (e.g. zCX, z/OS Container Platform) Application middleware (e.g. CICS, IMS, VSAM, MQ, WebSphere, and z/OSMF) Database (e.g. DB2, DVM for VSAM) Knowledge of HA/DR architectures on z/OS, networking and storage (Parallel Sysplex, WLM, JES, SDSF, GDPS) Hands on experience with installing and configuring z/OS applications (e.g. z/OSMF, SMP/E, RACF) A thorough understanding of distributed systemsx86 architecture, virtualization and Linux platforms Preferred technical and professional experience Prior experience working with IBM Z products and solutions Experience as an IT infrastructure specialist maintaining, designing and provisioning complex z/OS environments. ITIL Foundation and/or Agile Practices Knowledge. Experience and expertise in one or more of the following capabilitiesSMP/E; z/OSMF; RACF; GDPS; Parallel Sysplex; DB2; CICS; IMS; Z Security.
