Solution Architect (Gurgaon - Work from Office)

Lead the architectural design and strategic technology decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovation within the organization.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Activities 

• Technical Leadership: Utilize 17+ years of industry experience to provide technical leadership and expertise in architecting robust and scalable software solutions across various domains such as web, mobile, APIs, and data platforms.
• Solution Design: Lead the design and development of architecture solutions that meet the business requirements while adhering to industry best practices, standards, and compliance regulations. Ensure architectural designs align with the Air India's strategic goals and technological roadmap.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to analyze requirements, identify technical challenges, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Architecture Review and Optimization: Conduct regular architecture reviews to assess system performance, scalability, and security. Identify optimization opportunities and provide recommendations for enhancing system efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. Act on those opportunities to drive excellence.

Team Management

• Lead a team of architects and guide them to ensure their efforts align with overarching objectives. 
• Act as a mentor to junior architects and development teams and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and technical trainings to foster continuous learning and skill development within the team.
• Identify gaps and room for improvement and encourage talent development to position the team for long-term success.

Preferred candidate profile

• 13+ years of experience 
• Experience enterprise architecture roles, with a proven track record of success in driving digital transformation initiatives. 
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF, with experience in adapting frameworks to suit organizational needs.

Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is desirable.
