Solution Architect - Enterprise Planning & Reporting

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Anaplan, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BW for enterprise planning, reporting, and analytics.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Panasonic Planning & Reporting processes (Corporate Planning, Financial Forecasting, Management Reporting) and will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design integrated enterprise planning and reporting architectures leveraging:
• Microsoft Fabric for modern data engineering, data lakehouse, and analytics.
• Anaplan for financial and operational planning models.
• SAP S/4HANA for transactional finance and supply chain processes.
• SAP BW/4HANA for enterprise data warehousing and consolidated reporting.
• Translate Panasonics planning and reporting requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.
• Define data flows, integration patterns, and data governance frameworks between Fabric, Anaplan, and SAP systems.

Business Engagement & Advisory

• Partner with Panasonic business units (Corporate Planning, Controlling, Reporting) to understand existing processes, pain points, and strategic objectives.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices in financial planning, forecasting, and analytics.
• Present solution roadmaps, architecture blueprints, and technical proposals to senior stakeholders.

Project & Delivery Leadership

• Oversee end-to-end solution lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Provide architectural guidance to consultants and development teams across MS Fabric, Anaplan, SAP S/4, and BW.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and risk assessments.

Governance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with Panasonic IT governance, security, and data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
• Establish and enforce design standards, naming conventions, and best practices across platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation, AI/ML, and cloud-native features where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep functional knowledge of Panasonic Planning & Reporting processes

(Corporate Planning cycles, Forecasting, Profitability analysis, Management Reporting).

• Proven expertise in at least two of the following:
• Microsoft Fabric (Data Lakehouse, Power BI, Synapse, Dataflows, OneLake).
• Anaplan (Connected Planning, Model Building, Workspace Administration).
• SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Controlling, Group Reporting, Integration).
• SAP BW/4HANA (Data Modeling, ETL, BEx/Analysis for Office, Reporting).
• Strong data modeling and integration design experience across hybrid (on-premise & cloud) landscapes.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture and security principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present complex architectures to both business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• ITIL, TOGAF, or SAP/Anaplan Architect certification.
• Experience in Panasonic Europe or other large global manufacturing enterprises.
• Hands-on knowledge of MS Fabric pipelines, DAX/Power BI, Anaplan ALM, or SAP Group Reporting.
