Solution Architect Digital Twin Platform

Job Description

We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong expertise in Digital Twin architectures to design and

deliver a robust, scalable, and secure technical framework for a next-generation Digital Twin

platform. The role requires a combination of deep architectural knowledge and hands-on cloud

experience (preferably Azure), with collaboration across data engineering, platform development,

and product teams to ensure seamless evolution beyond the MVP phase.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Strategy

• Design the “Meta Twin” database schema and establish a universal coordinate system as the

platform’s single source of truth.

• Develop a comprehensive technical architecture covering system components, services, and

data flows.

• Map the end-to-end data lifecycle — from ingestion and processing to visualization and API

consumption.

• Define architectural standards and patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and security.

Technology Selection & Implementation

• Recommend and implement the optimal cloud technology stack (preferably Azure) aligned

with business and technical needs.

• Evaluate and integrate open-source solutions to enhance flexibility and cost efficiency.
• Oversee integration across cloud services, data stores, messaging queues, and APIs.

Documentation & Delivery

• Deliver comprehensive architecture diagrams illustrating components, interactions, and

dependencies.

• Create detailed technical specification documents covering data models, API contracts, and

component designs.

• Ensure designs comply with security, governance, and data standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Data Engineering, DevOps, AI/ML, and Product teams to align architecture

with functional goals.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout

implementation.

• Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations effectively to

technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture, including at least 3+ years in cloud-based

or Digital Twin solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud Services: Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Azure

Digital Twins, Functions, etc.

• Expertise in data modeling, API design, and event-driven/microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of IoT frameworks, data streaming, and real-time analytics.
• Hands-on experience with open-source technologies: Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes,

Docker.

• Proven ability to develop architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and reference

implementations.

• Familiarity with security, compliance, and scalability principles for enterprise-grade systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Digital Twin, Simulation, or Industrial IoT platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML integration within data-driven architectures.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
