Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the

  GraphQL reference architecture

  , best practices, and design principles.
• Build and maintain

  schema governance and versioning strategies

• Guide engineering teams in developing

  scalable GraphQL-based integrations

• Act as a

  GraphQL evangelist

  , enabling adoption across business units.
• Collaborate with segment architects to gather requirements and align architectural direction.
• Support technical roadmap creation alongside the Product Owner.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical work items.
• Ensure compliance with

  enterprise architecture, security, and North Star design guidelines

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience creating

  subgraphs/supergraphs

  from scratch
• Schema design, queries, mutations, subscriptions
• API-led architecture, API management systems
• Strong integration architecture experience
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar observability tools
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Prior involvement in

  central integration teams

  (CoE / platform teams)
