SOLIDWORKS DESIGNER

We are a reputed manufacturer of Scientific and Medical Laboratory Instruments and Equipment and looking for a suitable SOLIDWORKS DESIGNER candidate for our manufacturing facilities. The SOLIDWORKS DESIGNER will create and revise technical drawings in SolidWorks based on rough engineering notes, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions. Candidate must have good knowledge of Sheet Metal and good knowledge of sheet metal operations.

• Duties include collecting measurement data, creating new CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks, updating existing drawings, creating files for CNC.
• Will oversee Quality Control.

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experienced with SolidWorks design software.
• Also have experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D design software.
• Has a good mechanical and conceptual aptitude.
• Takes direction from senior drafters and management.
• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere.
• Sheet metal knowledge and should know all sheet metal operations

Education and Experience:

• Good experience in Solidworks sheet metal drafting and 3d modeling.
• Associated Diploma in CAD or drafting.
• 3years or more related work experience in CAD design and drafting.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD (mechanical design and drafting).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical drafting).
• Experience in Control Panel manufacturing company is added advantage.
