Role Overview

SolidWorks CAD Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed

  manufacturing drawings

  for spare parts from physical samples or reference sketches.
• Develop

  General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)

  and layouts for machines and assemblies.
• Manage and organize the

  drawing database

  , ensuring proper version control and documentation.
• Maintain records of

  issued and revised drawings

  for production and service teams.
• Coordinate with

  design, production, and procurement

  departments to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Any other tasks deemed suitable for the above position

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in
  Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks

  (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fits, and tolerances.
• Ability to create fabrication and machining drawings with precision.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in

  machine manufacturing

  or other related industries.
• Familiarity with drawing version control.
