We are looking for a Solar Technician responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The technician will work on rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar PV panels, mounting structures, inverters, and batteries
Perform DC and AC electrical wiring as per drawings and safety norms
Assist in system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
Troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, and balance of system
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of solar systems
Follow electrical safety rules, PPE usage, and site safety procedures
Read and understand basic electrical drawings and layouts
Coordinate with site engineers and project supervisors
Prepare basic installation and maintenance reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy (preferred)
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical components
Understanding of DC & AC electrical systems
Ability to use tools like multimeter, clamp meter, hand tools
Willingness to work at heights and outdoor locations
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience:
Fresher to 3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work
Freshers with training in solar systems are welcome
Preferred Skills (Optional):
Experience with rooftop solar installations
Knowledge of grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid systems
Familiarity with net metering and basic documentation
Driving license (2-wheeler / 4-wheeler)
