Solar technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to join our growing renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring high-quality execution and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted).
• Conduct site assessments and assist in layout planning.
• Perform electrical wiring, inverter connections, and mounting structure assembly.
• Monitor and maintain solar installations to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Diagnose and repair system faults or performance issues.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors for smooth project execution.
• Prepare installation and service reports.
• Ensure adherence to Hydromo’s quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy (or equivalent qualification).
• 1–3 years of experience in solar PV system installation and maintenance (freshers with technical knowledge may also apply).
• Understanding of DC/AC electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with solar inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
• Basic knowledge of water pumping and hybrid solar setups (added advantage).
• Vendor coordination and on-site troubleshooting experience.
