Solar Technician / Engineer

As a Solar Installation Technician, your primary responsibility will involve installing, wiring, testing, and maintaining solar panels and associated equipment for both rooftop and ground-mounted structures. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing solar panels based on blueprints and schematics - Wiring solar panels, ground equipment, and connecting systems to electrical grids - Testing electrical systems and circuits to ensure proper functionality - Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting faults to optimize system efficiency - Performing site surveys to assess locations for installation suitability - Monitoring, diagnosing, and repairing underperforming PV systems To excel in this role, you should possess the following key skills and qualifications: - Technical knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and solar PV technology - Experience with hand and power tools for installation and maintenance - Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, especially when working at heights - Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex equipment and diagnose malfunctions - Effective communication skills to interact with clients, engineers, and project managers - Physical fitness to handle physically demanding tasks and work outdoors This role is full-time and permanent, suitable for fresher candidates. The work schedule is during day shifts. Fluency in Hindi is preferred for effective communication. The work location is in Kozhikode, Kerala, and requires in-person presence. If you have at least 1 year of work experience, it would be preferred for this position.
