Solar Sales Executive identifies leads, assesses customer needs, and sells solar energy solutions through site visits and product demonstrations. Key responsibilities include educating customers on solar benefits, creating customized proposals and quotes, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and maintaining client relationships. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to stay current with industry trends. Key responsibilitiesProspecting and lead generation: Identify and contact potential customers through networking, cold calls, referrals, and online outreach. Client needs assessment: Meet with customers to understand their energy needs and conduct site assessments to evaluate solar installation feasibility. Sales and consultation: Educate clients on solar products, services, and their benefits. Present tailored solutions, proposals, and quotes that fit customer needs and budgets. Closing deals: Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from start to finish. Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for satisfaction and repeat business. Post-sales support: Provide after-sales service and follow up with customers on their orders and installation status. Reporting and tracking: Maintain records of sales activities and report on sales performance. Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on solar industry trends, products, technologies, and regulations. Required skills and qualificationsSales experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar industry or a related field.
