As a part of Spectrum Solar Power, a leading provider of clean and sustainable energy solutions, you will play a pivotal role in helping homeowners and businesses reduce energy costs through solar power. You will have the opportunity to engage with potential customers through various sales channels such as cold calling, door-to-door visits, referrals, and digital outreach. Your primary responsibility will be to educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and tailor solutions based on their specific needs. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting site visits to assess energy consumption and provide personalized solar proposals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients post-sales will be essential, ensuring excellent service and support. Collaboration with the sales team to achieve targets and drive revenue growth will also be a key aspect of your role. It is important to stay updated with industry trends and company offerings to provide the best solutions to the customers. To excel in this role, prior sales experience in any industry, whether B2C or B2B, would be beneficial. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with a self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset. You should be eager to learn, able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. While a basic understanding of renewable energy is preferred, training will be provided to enhance your knowledge. Proficiency in using CRM software and digital tools for sales tracking is also desired.
