Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Solar PV Engineer. The Solar PV Engineer will oversee the design, planning, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Responsibilities include creating electrical and PV system designs, conducting site assessments, preparing project documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute projects. The engineer will also ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and manage technical troubleshooting as part of the operations and maintenance process. The role involves working closely with clients to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Solar Industry, Solar Power, and Solar Systems
• Proficiency in PV Design and understanding of system optimization
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Design and adherence to regulatory standards
• Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or a related field)
• Hands-on experience in solar PV projects, including design and implementation, is an advantage
• Familiarity with IEC standards, MNRE, and TEDA guidelines is desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD and PVsyst, is a plus
