Solar PV Civil Draftsman

As a Civil and Structural Draughtsman in Solar Engineering, your role involves supporting solar engineering projects by preparing detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D). You will work on various aspects of solar PV systems, including site development plans, foundation layouts, and support structures for rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) for solar power projects. - Create 2D models of solar structure layouts, such as racking systems, foundations, trenches, cable routing, and access roads. - Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards. - Prepare general arrangement drawings (GADs), sectional details, and fabrication drawings. - Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback, site conditions, or client inputs. - Maintain accurate layer management, drawing scales, and presentation quality in all deliverables. - Coordinate with internal teams for drawing version control and document management. - Assist in quantity take-offs and bill of materials preparation based on drawings. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. - Previous experience as a draughtsman in civil/structural roles, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects. - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) tools. - Strong understanding of civil and structural drafting standards and detailing. - Knowledge of solar PV mounting structures, foundation systems, and site layout planning. - Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings effectively. - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. - Experience in ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects. - Basic understanding of structural design principles or solar PV system components.,
