Develop and revise drawings based on engineering designs and specifications. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements. Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D CAD software. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using MS Excel.

Job Overview: The Drawing Checker Structural Design is responsible for reviewing and verifying detailed structural drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes. This role ensures accuracy, constructability, and adherence to quality standards in structural design deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Drawing Review & Verification: Thoroughly review structural design drawings, including steel, concrete, and other materials, to ensure accuracy and completeness. Check dimensions, details, and annotations for compliance with design requirements, codes, and standards. Code Compliance: Verify drawings against applicable industry standards (e.g., IS, AISC, BS, Eurocodes) and project specifications. Ensure drawings meet safety, structural integrity, and buildability requirements. Coordination with Design Team: Collaborate with design engineers and drafters to resolve discrepancies and clarify design intent. Provide feedback and recommend necessary revisions to improve design quality. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure uniformity and consistency across all structural drawings. Maintain documentation of review notes, revisions, and approvals. Constructability Assessment: Assess drawings for practical feasibility during construction and provide recommendations for improvements. Identify and flag potential clashes or constructability issues early in the design phase. Standards & Procedures: Ensure adherence to company drafting standards, templates, and procedures. Support the development and improvement of internal design-checking processes.

Assist in the drafting and design of pipelines as per ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, and ASME B31.3 codes. Develop pipeline alignment sheets, route maps, and related documentation based on survey data. Prepare typical drawings, road/existing pipeline/cable crossing details, key plans, and route survey drawings. Support the preparation of pipeline route maps, field layouts, and topographical survey drawings. Assist in the preparation of piping plot plans, general arrangement drawings (GADs), isometrics, and equipment layout drawings.
