Position:

Job Summary

end-to-end execution of large-scale ground-mounted solar power plant projects

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar EPC projects from development through commissioning and handover.

Design & Engineering Oversight

    • Supervise and review engineering designs for accuracy, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure optimal configuration of panels, inverters, racking systems, and SCADA while maintaining safety standards.

Budget & Resource Management

    • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and resource allocation.
    • Take corrective actions to avoid cost and time overruns.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

    • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, landowners, and local authorities.
    • Ensure smooth coordination, timely resolution of issues, and project milestones are met.

Quality & Safety

    • Implement quality control and assurance processes.
    • Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols and conduct regular inspections for compliance.

Risk Management

    • Identify potential risks proactively and establish effective mitigation strategies.

Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain up-to-date project documentation (drawings, schedules, budgets, progress trackers).
    • Generate MIS reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Site-Specific Challenges

    • Manage land acquisition, right-of-way issues, local clearances, and infrastructure readiness.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    10-15 years in managing solar EPC projects, with proven expertise in utility-scale ground-mounted (MW-scale) projects.

  • Technical Knowledge

    : Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, racking, SCADA, transmission line interfaces, and construction management best practices.

  • Leadership:

    Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams, contractors, and site personnel.

  • Communication

    : Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration.

  • Compliance:

    Comprehensive knowledge of statutory, regulatory, environmental, and safety standards applicable to solar projects.

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Mobility:

    Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as required.

  • Salary:

    80,000 to 90,000 per month.

  • Notice Period

    : Maximum 30 days or 45 days.
