Solar Panel Installer

As a Solar PV Installer with 13 years of experience in rooftop solar installations, your role will involve installing solar modules, wiring, and supporting equipment while ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Install rooftop solar PV systems including modules, mounting structures, inverters, and BOS components. - Perform DC and AC wiring, conduit work, earthing, and cable management. - Assist in site surveys, measurements, and layout planning. - Work with project engineers to ensure smooth on-site execution. - Troubleshoot installation issues and support commissioning activities. - Follow safety norms, PPE requirements, and electrical standards. - Maintain tools, inventory, and on-site documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 13 years of experience in rooftop solar installation (mandatory). - ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field preferred. - Strong understanding of solar module mounting, DC stringing, and AC distribution. - Familiarity with common inverter brands (Growatt, Sungrow, Havells, SMA, etc.). - Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Willingness to travel to various project locations. Preferred Knowledge: - Rooftop projects ranging from 1 kW to 100 kW. - Use of installation tools, MC4 connectors, SPD, MCB, and earthing kits. - Basic troubleshooting of inverter and wiring issues.
