Solar engineer

We are looking for a Solar Engineer with relevant experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) or Project Execution of solar power plants. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of solar systems and hands-on experience in managing field operations at utility-scale or rooftop solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute O&M activities at solar project sites.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance of solar equipment (inverters, panels, transformers, cables, etc.).
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA or other monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with site technicians, vendors, and contractors for smooth operations.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance/maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at the site.

• Solar PV System Design & Electrical System Design (LT/HT)
• AutoCAD (Electrical & Civil Drawings)
• PVsyst / Helioscope Simulation
• Single Line Diagram (SLD) Preparation
• Cable Sizing & Route Planning
• Inverter & Module Selection
• Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation
• Knowledge of MNRE Guidelines & IEC Standards
• Hands-on troubleshooting of solar equipment
• Quality & Safety Compliance in Solar Projects

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in solar O&M or project execution.
• Good understanding of PV modules, inverters, and BOS components.
• Ability to manage site activities and field operations independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
