Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer at Go Solar, a renewable energy company specializing in solar PV projects, you will play a crucial role in designing sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing solar PV systems for rooftop and ground-mounted projects - Preparing system layouts, string sizing, and technical calculations - Creating SLD, GA drawings, and BOQ - Performing shadow analysis and generation estimation - Coordinating with project and installation teams - Ensuring compliance with MNRE / DISCOM guidelines - Supporting technical documentation and approvals To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy - 1-3 years of experience in solar PV design - Good working knowledge of SketchUp is mandatory - Knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope is an advantage - Understanding of inverters, modules, and BOS - Good communication and coordination skills In addition to the exciting work you'll be doing, Go Solar offers a range of benefits to support your well-being and professional growth, including a flexible schedule, health insurance, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, and Provident Fund.
