Solar Design Engineer

As a Sr. Solar Design Engineer at Bisun Electric Private Limited, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing renewable energy team and contribute to designing the future of clean power. Your role will involve designing and optimizing solar systems using tools such as AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, and PVsyst. You will be responsible for conducting site evaluations, creating accurate 3D models, and addressing real-world technical challenges with innovative solutions. Staying updated with the latest solar technology trends will be an essential part of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in team handling, supporting the sales team with technical input, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and proposal documentation, as well as preparing detailed engineering drawings and documentation for permitting and construction purposes. We are seeking candidates with a BE/ME in Electrical Engineering/Solar Field and at least 2 years of experience in solar PV system design, be it residential, commercial, or utility-scale projects. Knowledge of electrical codes, solar permitting processes, and interconnection standards is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, along with proficiency in CAD software. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVsyst will be advantageous.
