Solar AC Electrical Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting the engineering design and implementation of Solar AC packages for renewable energy projects. Your role will involve understanding project scopes, preparing designs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will collaborate with various engineering disciplines and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs into overall projects. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and carry out preliminary and basic design of Solar AC package for renewable energy projects - Prepare RFPs and detailed design reports for PV plants - Design and detail Solar AC side components such as transformers, cables, conductors, battery systems, etc. - Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local, state, and CTU regulations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AC & DC electrical, civil, and structural engineers for project integration - Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for Solar Plant engineering activities - Implement quality assurance processes to ensure safety and efficiency of design deliverables - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in design and detailing of Solar AC systems - Experience in ground-mounted Solar PV farms with a minimum capacity of 300MW - Knowledge of inverter technology and selection optimization - Familiarity with EHV substation systems is an added advantage - Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for Solar PV plant engineering designs - Ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines and project management teams - Experience in procurement support activities and vendor management - Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective project oversight Additional Company Details: None provided in the job description.,
