You will be participating in building from scratch the next-gen retail solution as-a-service dealing with scalability, availability, cloud and edge computing. You will participate in the entire development cycle -planning and development to validation and maintenance providing state of the art solutions. Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility: Our software is being integrated into some of the largest retailers in the world, and we need to be able to scale with them. Design and develop high-quality software solutions using .Net Core 6+(C#), REST API in HA Microservices Product Architecture. Design, implement and maintain multi-tenant SaaS applications ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Leverage Docker, Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, and scaling of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Optimize application performance and scalability through effective code design and implementation. Follow the organizational process to achieve maintainable code by having good code coverage with unit tests and conducting code reviews. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software engineering, multi-tenancy, and SaaS architecture. Recommends adjustments to resolve software issues, improve the functionality of existing software, and ensure that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets quality standards. Uses strong, effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional team members, product owners, and other product stakeholders to develop applications that meet customer needs. Should have strong Software coding and design skills. Expand the functionality of our solution based on insights from our analytics and experimentation efforts. Collaborate cross functionally to solve business problems and continue to support our rapid growth. Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code. Participate with industry groups, stay current with technology and industry trends, distribute knowledge to team members, form best practices. (Retail and Self-service Retail Industry groups) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of experience in software engineering. 2-3+ years of experience as Tech lead / Architect. 5+ years of experience working with Public Clouds (GCP, AWS, or Azure). 5+ years of programming experience in C# .Net core (.NET 6 and above ) Golang - advantage. Solid understanding of cloud native development, containerization, CI/CD, microservices and API development Excellent written, verbal communication skills and ability to work in teams. Good To Have: Experience in React JS, Typescript JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS with experience of implementation of one medium sized project. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Retail industry, POS software solution development, and/or SAAS Experience with cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, service-mesh, OIDC, Terraform Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools like: GitOps, GitHub, Helm. Certification, training or skills in agile, cloud computing, or software development technologies Key Skills: .Net 6 and above, C#, , NUnit, BDDs, Postman, Curl, Entity Framework, LINQ, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, PostgreSQL, JIRA, Github CI/CD, Actions/Workflows, GCP/Azure/AWS.
