Software Tester/Automation Tester with Cypress

As an experienced Software Tester specializing in automation testing with Cypress, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Automated Testing: Perform automated testing using Cypress to ensure thorough test coverage of web and mobile applications. - Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain functional test cases, test data, and other artifacts based on business requirements and user scenarios. - Integration: Integrate test scripts with continuous integration tools like Jenkins to improve the testing process. - Test Execution: Execute test plans, perform manual functional and exploratory testing, and support frameworks for test infrastructure. - Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product owners to review test plans and cases, contributing to the quality delivery of releases. - Performance Testing: Write requirements and develop scenarios for performance and load testing to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. For this role, you must have the following qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience using Cypress for automation testing on web-based and mobile applications. - Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the ability to derive test scenarios from business requirements. - Proficiency in various testing types including Functional, Regression, Retesting, UI, Usability, and Cross-Browser testing. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
