Software Tester

As a Software Tester, your role involves reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open source tools and identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs. Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs are also part of your key responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-2 years of experience - Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process - Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus As a Software Tester, you will also need to stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Your work will involve liaising with internal teams such as developers and product managers to identify system requirements, monitoring debugging process results, investigating the causes of non-conforming software, and training users to implement solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts. This job is a permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location is in person.,
