Job Description – Senior Software Tester (Team Lead)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Tester (Team Lead) to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing software testing activities while leading a team to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You will mentor junior testers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements in testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage and alignment with requirements.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on best practices and testing techniques.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and suggest preventive measures to improve product quality.
• Continuously review and enhance QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a QA team.
