Software Test Manager

As a Software Testing Manager at ExpertusONE, you will play a pivotal role in leading our QA team towards delivering high-quality, issue-free software in a product development environment. With a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience, you will demonstrate expertise in advanced automation and manual testing, contributing to the establishment of scalable testing frameworks and ensuring strategic leadership. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing both automation and manual testing activities across the business. You will be instrumental in defining and enhancing test strategies, processes, and best practices, while also managing the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites. Additionally, you will lead manual testing efforts encompassing functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing requirements. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate testing into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Monitoring quality metrics, identifying trends, and taking proactive measures to enhance product quality will be essential aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching QA engineers, managing test environments and resources, as well as participating in release planning and production deployment validations. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 12+ years of software testing experience, including significant managerial or lead roles. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Junit, as well as scripting/programming languages like Java, JavaScript & Typescript is required. A solid understanding of manual testing techniques, test case design, defect management, and familiarity with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, and Docker will be beneficial. Your expertise should extend to encompassing knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices, ideally gained through prior experience in software product companies.
