Our Indian office plays a significant role in sales, back-office services, and customer support, closely collaborating with our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland on a daily basis. We are seeking a Software Test Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing, particularly specializing in UI testing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through effective testing processes, working in collaboration with cross-functional teams and implementing best testing practices. Responsibilities include: Automation Testing - Developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like QT Squish with Python on Windows System - Integrating automation into CI/CD Pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git Manual Testing - Conducting detailed exploratory, functional, integration, and regression testing - Logging and tracking defects in tools like JIRA to ensure timely resolution Data Analytics - Collaborating closely with internal project managers to comprehend data requirements and suggesting effective solutions through informative dashboards and reports - Engaging with leadership to advocate for the benefits of data-oriented testing methodology and driving relevant initiatives in this direction - Contributing to the development of dashboards and reports to enhance the governance and monitoring of core deliverables Skills & Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript - Proficiency in the Windows platform - Knowledge of test management tools such as Zoho, Jira, or Cloud Solutions - CI/CD knowledge and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Pipelines - Understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile Environments - Knowledge of UI and testing tools - Fluency in English and a strong desire to work within a global R&D team - Understanding the basics of electrical engineering and electronics is an added advantage Education: - Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
