Software Test Engineer II

As a Software Test Engineer II at FC Global Services India LLP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by delivering high-quality, reliable software that offers a smooth user experience while minimizing potential problems. Your responsibilities will include reducing risk by proactively identifying and fixing bugs to mitigate the chances of software failure, security breaches, and performance issues, ultimately providing users with a bug-free experience. You will be part of the Loan Origination Technology team under Lending Technology, focusing on developing and maintaining applications responsible for Loan Origination, such as nCino, Salesforce, homegrown applications using .NET and Java, vendor products, and custom tools. Your contributions will aim to enhance the quality and reliability of banking products, accelerate development cycles, and deliver functional features to end-users. Additionally, you will ensure alignment with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and meet business objectives. Key Deliverables: - Execute Functional and Integration testing, in sprint automation testing, and prepare regression cases for upcoming sprints. - Collaborate with product owners for story pointing and test case design. - Create and execute test cases in a defect tracking tool. - Track and report defects. - Collaborate with the team and contribute to upskilling efforts. Skills and Qualifications: Functional Skills: - Minimum 6 years of experience with 3+ years in manual testing. - Basic knowledge of Automation tools. - Proficiency in HP-ALM, Jira x-ray, or any defect tracking tool. - Strong exposure to SDLC processes, Testing Methodologies, and Agile. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Solid understanding of software development principles to design and execute test cases. - Ability to work as an individual contributor and a team player. - Eagerness to learn new technologies. - Banking domain knowledge is a plus. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Core Java, Python. - Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber. - Version Control knowledge in Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab. - Database expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Jenkins. - Familiarity with CRM Solutions like Salesforce Lightning and Classic. - Exposure to Ready API/SOAP UI PRO. Relationships & Collaboration: - Collaborate with team members, developers, scrum masters, system analysts, and Quality Engineering team members across geographies. - Ability to work with different team leaders and present release functionality during demos. - Provide daily status reports to stakeholders.
