Software Test Engineer

As a Software Tester at GemlaySoft, you will be an integral part of our QA team based in Mohali. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about software testing. Whether you are a recent graduate or have up to 6 months of hands-on testing experience, we encourage you to apply and become a valuable member of our team. Your responsibilities will include executing test cases, both manual and automated, and effectively reporting any identified bugs. You will be tasked with identifying, recording, and tracking software defects while collaborating closely with developers and product managers to uphold quality standards. Participation in regression, sanity, and functional testing processes is essential, along with documenting test cases and their results. To excel in this role, you should possess a basic understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and be familiar with manual testing tools and techniques. Strong analytical and communication skills are key, along with a working knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms (preferred). Candidates with a degree in B.Tech/BCA/MCA or related fields will be preferred, and additional internship or training experience in QA/testing is advantageous. While knowledge of automation tools like Selenium is not mandatory, it is considered a bonus.
