Job Description

As a Software Quality Engineer II-2 at Mastercard Services, you will be a vital part of the Mastercard Intelligence team responsible for defining and maintaining data architecture for real-time interactive applications used by clients worldwide. The primary focus will be on integrating Mastercard data with third-party data to help clients track performance and identify customer groups. You will have the opportunity to contribute to building a high-performance analytics platform that leverages cutting-edge technologies to provide valuable insights to businesses globally. In this role, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the highest standards of software quality. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Your work will involve creating comprehensive test plans, conducting various types of testing, tracking bugs, and developing automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Design and Develop Test Cases: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. - Execute Testing: Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure product quality. - Bug Tracking and Reporting: Log defects, provide detailed reproduction steps, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. - Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing processes. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of development. - Documentation: Document test results, create reports, and provide feedback to enhance product quality. - Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, offer feedback, and suggest improvements to testing methodologies. Qualifications: - Experience: 2-3 years in software testing or quality assurance. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#, and experience with test automation tools. - Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail. - Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing. - Experience with CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes. - Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools.
