Software QA Engineer - Playwright

At HowNow, you will be part of a team that values technical expertise and continuous improvement, making it an ideal place for you if you are passionate about testing and seeking to make a real impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage. - Write and execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionality and quality. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript. - Assist in creating and enhancing automation frameworks for UI and API testing. - Automate test scenarios for functional and regression testing. - Perform API testing using tools like Axios with Playwright and TypeScript. - Assist with the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Write SQL queries for database validation and testing. - Analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate with the development team for resolution. - Learn and implement best practices in testing and automation to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency. **Qualifications Required:** - 5 years of experience in software testing, including automation testing. - Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for UI automation. - Basic knowledge of API test automation using Axios or similar tools. - Familiarity with writing and maintaining automation frameworks (experience building frameworks is a plus). - Knowledge of version control systems like GIT. - Experience in manual testing and a good understanding of QA processes. - Exposure to CI/CD platforms and a basic understanding of their role in automation. - Ability to write basic SQL queries for database validation. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
