Reporting to the Software Engineering manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous improvement by leveraging your expertise in networking, cloud technologies, automation development, test methodologies, and customer-centric approach. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, tools, and test suites in response to evolving feature sets and customer needs. Collaborating closely with software engineers, test engineers, and product managers, you will be an integral part of the Agile engineering team, working within a fast-paced, continuous integration and delivery-based engineering environment. Your role will involve writing test scripts in Python for web-ui and microservices, managing, monitoring, testing, and executing on a daily basis, as well as building cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks for deploying, managing, and monitoring SaaS applications on AWS. To excel in this role, you should possess over 6 years of experience in developing functional and end-to-end tests, with a proven track record in creating highly maintainable tests for microservices architectures. Strong proficiency in Python, CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to develop modular and maintainable test harnesses are essential. Additionally, familiarity with test frameworks, REST APIs, and technologies such as Agile lifecycle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, and Git would be advantageous. In the first six months, you are expected to develop expertise in Python, deploy and manage services on Kubernetes, gain knowledge of Micro FrontEnd architecture, and enhance efficiency rates in testing and project completion. Beyond a year, you will have made substantial contributions to testing Kubernetes Infrastructure, taken ownership of features/projects, and furthered your skills in managing services on Kubernetes.
