Software QA Analyst

As an IT Programmer at iQor in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, your role involves developing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, modifying, and installing programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing programs that involve formatted output and basic reporting. - Preparing technical specifications and test plans. - Developing/maintaining computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. - Devising sample input data to test the accuracy of the program. - Resolving questions regarding program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification, and ensuring system integrity. - Observing or running tests of the program using sample or actual data and assisting in user acceptance training. - Participating in the roll-out and on-time delivery of developed applications. - Maintaining and developing documentation for the responsible area, providing status updates of assigned project plans and schedules. - Maintaining positive relations with all employees, encouraging suggestions for improving IT systems, recommending/conducting training, and serving as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues. - Organizing verbal and written ideas clearly, using appropriate business style. - Identifying creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems, driving continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. - Offering new ideas and suggestions for improvement, implementing new practices and processes that are best in the field. - Exchanging knowledge and information with other iQor facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization while maintaining discretion and confidentiality. - Working effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines, providing off-hours 24/7 support as required. - Performing other duties as assigned. Skills Requirements: - 3 or more years of experience, knowledge in 1 or more of iQor's software programs or packages. - Knowledge of RDMS and SQL. - Organizational, logical, analytical, and mathematical skills. - Effective communication skills both verbal and written. - Good working knowledge of standard computer operating systems, i.e. Microsoft, Unix. - Understanding of object-oriented concepts and database objects. - Understanding of software design methodologies. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate, or Equivalent required in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a computer-related discipline. Physical Requirements: - Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force. - Visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and viewing a computer terminal. - Typing and/or sitting for extended periods of time. - Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.,
