As a Software Engineer , you will be part of a team responsible for building and integrating new solutions within the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) & Corporate Affairs portfolio into our IT Landscape. You will work with development teams and stakeholders in various locations, including India, the UK, and Denmark. Key Responsibilities: As an SAP GRC Software Engineer , you will be part of an ambitious engineering team, primarily responsible for driving the successful technical delivery of solutions that fit their purpose. This will be achieved with a strong focus on cost-efficiency and ensuring that the correct procedures are in place to assure code and feature quality. Your tasks will include: Technical Implementation & Delivery: Implement technical executions or responsibilities as appropriate, delivering solutions flexibly, whether utilizing off-the-shelf or bespoke applications. Code Quality & Standards: Write and deliver high-quality code, participate in code walkthroughs according to functional specifications, and ensure code adheres to high standards and specifications in accordance with current frameworks. Collaboration & Relationships: Build strong collaborative relationships with engineers, architects, external agencies, vendor staff, and partners. Solution Design & Guidance: Assist as required in scope definition, technical viability scoping, and best practice solution design to meet requirements. Where appropriate, provide guidance to the Solution Architect in the development of solutions. Risk Management: Highlight all risks and issues that may affect development or deliveries in a timely manner. Product Owner Partnership: Form a strong and trusted relationship with the Product Owner, ensuring they are fully aware of the technical capabilities and shortcomings of the product, thereby enabling sensible technical investment and debt repayment decisions. Cross-Team Efficiency: Work across teams to define efficient solutions and implementation strategies to create highly cohesive implementations across products. Mentorship & Development: Mentor peer staff in software development methods, coding, and testing techniques where possible. Technical Advocacy: Demonstrate interest in improving the company's technical awareness, depth, and use of technology across the business. Standards & Policies: Participate in the evolution of company-level best practices, standards, and policies related to software development. Who We Are Looking For: Experience & Technical Skills: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a software engineer. Practical experience working with SAP Process Control and SAP Risk Management . Practical experience working with ABAP development is a strong plus. Experience with deployment and maintenance of the SAP GRC product portfolio . Experience working on large-scale global teams. Highly skilled in writing clean, reusable, and efficient code that is easy to read and maintain. Deep knowledge and understanding of technology; a person who stays relevant with the latest technology advancements and trends. Ways of Working: Experienced in an Agile/DevOps environment , with a focus on Lean engineering principles. Very strong communication and collaboration skills. Structured, highly analytical mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills. Collaborative, with strong facilitation and people skills, and demonstrable personal impact. Highly motivated and capable of working well under pressure. A great team player and a strong collaborator. Possesses strong opinions, loosely held able to advocate for ideas while remaining open to new information. Excellent English verbal and written communication is a must.
