Position Summary

Develop software solutions for one of the Behavioral Health and Care Solutions Delivery teams. This individual will be working on several of the largest Technology initiatives for Evernorth targeted at revolutionizing Health Services and Healthcare Delivery system in the United States. The focus of the work is to continue to enhance Evernorths market winning capabilities in the Behavioral Health and Care Solutions space. The Technology strategy is completely aligned to our business strategy and the candidate will be able to influence technologybusiness direction within a world class Delivery Vertical. The solution focuses on enabling this change through the use of the latest technologies and development techniques.

Responsibilities

Deploying and developing AWS cloud applications and services end to endAWS cloud experience with some of the core services S3, SQS, SNS, RDS,Boto3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, Glue, EC2, IAM, VPC.Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.Solid understanding of developing fast API&aposs using pythonExperience with Security Concepts (e.g. Encryption, Identity, etc.).Knowledge of AWS technology stack and solution patternsExperience in software development phases including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applicationsExperience developing with containers (e.g. Docker, EKS, OpenShift, etc.).Complete detailed peer code reviews.Core code production for AWS Infrastructure using TerraformWrite effective, scalable codeDesign, develop, test and maintain complex software solutions.

Back-end Engineering; 5+ years experience with Python framework programing language and AWS boto35+ years of experience with AWS Development and Cloud Architecture5+ Years experience in Application development and implementation of Python-based programs on Cloud platform using AWS ServicesMust be an independent problem solver who can evaluate a situation and build solution optionsGood understanding of JSON,XML, Data StructuresEfficient in Scripting language such as shell script, pythonGood understanding of server-side templating languages ?such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stackBasic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Understanding of accessibility and security complianceKnowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsUnderstanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationFamiliarity with event-driven programming in PythonUnderstanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platformStrong unit test and debugging skill
