Software Engineering Lead Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (DAE) Communication Platform team. The Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the development of reports and data feeds using SAS based platform and migration of reports to a cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating managing complex data queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift.
• Develop and manage services supporting the platform.
• Perform triage and root cause analysis of system issues.
• Perform performance testing and analysis.
• Work with business partners and product owner to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
• Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
• Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
• Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
• Ability to provide alternative solutions.
• Experienced with agile methodology.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Healthcare domain experience.

• Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Required Experience Education:

• Bachelor s degree in the related field.
• 6+ years of experience in developer role.
• 6+ years of relational database management systems like Oracle, SQL server and Teradata

Desired Experience:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certification desirable
• Experience with automated multi-channel customer communications
