Role Overview:

• We are looking for passionate and driven Java Developers to join our product engineering team.
• You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that support WorkInSync's dynamic SaaS platform. This is a hands-on backend development role that requires deep problem-solving skills and the ability to build scalable, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Own and deliver critical modules in production.

Required Skills & Experience:

1+ years of experience in Java backend development with hands-on knowledge of:

• Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• REST APIs
• SQL databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Strong computer science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable and available systems.
• Good to Have:
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services
• NoSQL databases like Cassandra or DynamoDB
• Messaging queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
• Caching solutions like Redis or Memcached
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
