TCS is looking for Software Engineer (Network Monitoring)

Location: PAN India

Experience: 5 years and above

  Domain

   concepts.
• Oracle Assure1

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Network Monitoring Engineer with hands-on experience in Oracle Assure1, scripting, and modern observability tools. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining monitoring rules, integrating systems, and ensuring optimal performance of telecom network monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and debug rules within Oracle Assure1 using Perl.
• Perform daily health checks and resolve monitoring system issues.
• Automate and customize monitoring solutions using Python and Perl.
• Understand and work with protocols like SNMP, TL1, Syslog, Webhooks, and Metric Collection.
• Deploy microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Interpret network device alarms and assess service availability and network health.
• (Preferred) Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Redis, and Kafka.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Assure1, especially in rule development and debugging.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Perl.
• Solid understanding of telecom network devices and alarms.
• Familiarity with monitoring protocols and container orchestration tools.
• Exposure to observability platforms is a plus.
