As a Software Engineer Specialist at Esko, a Veralto company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, reviewing, and maintaining software and system architecture. Your contributions will help accelerate the go-to-market process of packaged goods by empowering teams to support and manage packaging design and print processes for various stakeholders. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for: - Designing and developing software applications to ensure they are free from defects and function as intended - Maintaining software applications by fixing bugs, updating software, and adding new features - Collaborating with team members of developers, testers, and project managers - Staying up-to-date on industry trends and technologies - Providing technical support to users of the software - Documenting software development processes and maintaining complex software applications **Key Responsibilities:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - 15+ years of experience in software development with expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript - Strong experience in Cloud Technologies - Good knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices - Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js - Understanding of database design and development with SQL and/or NoSQL databases - Proficiency with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Proficiency with agile software development tools like JIRA, GitHub, etc. - Ability to quickly learn new technologies, APIs, and tools - Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologies - Flexibility and willingness to work in different technology stacks **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in software development with expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript Esko, a Veralto Company, values diversity and encourages individuals from all backgrounds to apply for positions.
