Software Engineer

As a software engineer in this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed design structures, implementing best practices and coding standards, and leading a team of developers for successful project delivery. Your tasks will include working on design, architecture, and hands-on coding. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement software for embedded/IOT devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment. - Develop, code, test, and debug system software. - Review code and design, analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources. - Integrate and validate new product designs, support software QA, optimize I/O performance, and interface with hardware design and development. - Assess third-party and open-source software. Qualifications Required: - Proven working experience in software engineering. - Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets. - Solid programming skills in C or C++. - Experience in embedded systems design with real-time operating systems. - Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review. - Knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems. - Ability to read schematics and data sheets for components. - Strong documentation, writing skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex plans and designs. - Strong design and architecture knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
