Software Engineer

You will be joining MRI Software as a Software Engineer, where your main responsibility will be developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. It is crucial to have a passion for development, eagerness to learn new technologies, and improve your skills. You are expected to be a team player who confidently offers opinions and listens to others. Your role will involve designing and developing applications using Adobe Coldfusion (version 2021), JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and other web-based technologies. You will be building and maintaining a suite of applications to provide metrics, performance measurement, and alerts through Dashboards. Additionally, applying updates and security patches for the software, maintaining a change log in Remedy, testing all updates before promoting them to the production environment, and following industry best practices in ColdFusion development are key aspects of the job. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 3 years of professional experience, extensive experience in programming with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), familiarity with ColdFusion ORM/Hibernate, Adobe Flex certifications, and enterprise-level website production experience using ColdFusion. Strong documentation, debugging skills, and the ability to design systems that meet business requirements are essential. As a Software Engineer, you are expected to be results-oriented, self-motivated, with integrity and a strong work ethic. You should be able to multitask effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and continuously strive for excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and accountability for commitments are crucial attributes for this role. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
