Software Engineer - Java

As a Java Developer with 3 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following: - Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Implementing and consuming RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange between systems. - Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns. - Integrating applications with various databases, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). - Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. - Contributing to and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications for performance and scalability. - Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for their adoption where relevant. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 3-6 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using Java. - Proficiency with the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot. - Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. - Experience with database integration, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases. - Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker). - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
