Role Overview: We are seeking a forward-thinking and passionate AI Engineer to join our Internal Tooling and Automation team. This role involves a unique blend of software engineering, automation, and applied artificial intelligence. As an AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and constructing tools that empower operations teams, streamline business processes, and enhance customer support experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Tool Development & Automation: Design, develop, and maintain internal software tools with automation features, leveraging AI/ML models to enhance tool intelligence. - AI-Driven Solutions: Identify opportunities to deploy AI/ML models to optimize operations, reduce manual intervention, and increase accuracy within business processes. - Systems Integration: Build and manage integrations with SaaS platforms like Hubspot, JIRA, and Zendesk using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern web development practices. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operations, customer support, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and provide AI-powered recommendations for process improvement. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor integration performance and automation pipelines, resolving technical issues promptly to minimize business disruption. - Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for internal tools, integration workflows, and AI/ML models to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML frameworks, automation practices, and web technologies to propose enhancements to existing systems and workflows regularly. - User Experience Focus: Ensure tools and solutions are intuitive, reliable, and designed for maximum ease of use for internal stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Strong background in core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Proficiency in developing APIs (RESTful & GraphQL) and hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Express.js (Node.js), Django (Python), or Spring Boot (Java). - Ability in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation, data handling, and workflow optimization. - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience in deploying models in production environments. - Understanding of integrating ML solutions into existing business systems, ensuring real-time performance. - Excellent problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented and analytical approach. - Strong collaboration and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams. - Capability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver within deadlines.
