Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer Intern to join our Platform Team. In this role, you will work on building, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and containerization technologies while collaborating with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and scalable delivery of applications. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment. Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure (eg, AWS, Azure, or GCP). Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Collaborate with developers to containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes. Enhance system monitoring and logging with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Participate in automating routine operational tasks to improve system efficiency. Support deployment strategies for application releases while ensuring system reliability and performance. Requirements: Education: bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Technical Skills: Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Hands-on knowledge of Linux systems and scripting languages (eg, Bash, Python). Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Exposure to containerisation tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus. Knowledge on Cloud-Based AI Tools like AWS DevOps Guru / Google Cloud Operations Suite. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Personal Attributes: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to manage time effectively and multitask efficiently.
