Software Engineer

As a Build and Release Engineer at In4Velocity, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Working on Technical Skills like Visual Studio, TFS Source Safe, SQL Server, C#, MS Build, Cruise Control (or any Build Tools), IIS. - Managing internal and external build, packaging, and release projects. - Implementing various codes in software programs to integrate with the build environment. - Monitoring, analyzing, documenting, and resolving bugs related to packaging/release. - Researching methods for improving software building/Release processes. - Developing internal tools for Packaging and Release. - Automating build processes and packing testing setup. - Implementing appropriate solutions for build and release processes. - Maintaining the repository of configuration items of all projects. - Generating regular reports and performance metrics. - Performing testing and quality assurance of software products. - Working in a Scrum environment. Preferred Skills: - Application development experience in Microsoft .NET Technologies using ASP.NET, MVC, C#/VB.NET, ADO.NET. - Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting ability. - Good Understanding of Database concepts/SQL, Web services/XML, Remoting. - Experience working with RDBMS, preferably SQL Server. - Knowledge of OOAD, UML, and design patterns. - Familiarity with at least one source control tool such as Visual Source Safe, CVS, etc. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar discipline. - Experience in Build & Configuration Management is a plus. - ASP, VB 6.0 & Crystal Report knowledge is a plus. - Experience in ERP is considered a plus. - Microsoft Certified Professionals preferred.
